I wish they would have never made the movie Precious.
No one understood its purpose. Instead everyone makes jokes calling every fat black girl Precious as if its just a joke.
This girl suffered an unusual pain, terrible life, yet all people can see is her being fat & black.
Well for the Precious in me, I will just say this;

My uncle passed away & my dad is grieving and people at school are bombarding me with lies, rumors and drama.

Yes you are not bound by a covenant (or to some just a legal document) to your significant other, but that does not give you free reign to act a plumb fool while disregarding any sort of respect or boundaries...
Tonight I’ve learned…
- I get bombarded & reprimanded for all the things I DON’T do in a relationship by a man/guy who isn’t in nor wants to be in a relationship with me. Which I am told is the reason I am/may be single.
-I can control myself, I just chose not to so many times. Now that I’m in control of myself again, it feels good to walk away from situations...
Today in my Romantic Writers class we talked a little bit about beauty in the strange & “ugly”.
All I could do was smile, I knew exactly what my Professor was referring to.

I take it as a compliment.

I’m so proud of myself… I went to the gym @ school.
Did the bike & the elliptical for about 35 min.
Then went to a “Zumba” class for an hour.
Felt good.

While so many people I know are trying to NOT teach in public schools, I’m striving to make sure I make my mark in the Public School system.
People don’t even understand that’s why public schools suffer so much, because no one cares enough to stay and help them.
Everyone just leaves them.
I can’t do that.
I’ve had too many teachers (and people for that matter)...
Its just hard for me to believe that God will turn his back on people.
I know the many times I’ve done wrong & blah blah blah.
He took me back & asked no questions.
